I'm a graphic novel artist and painter.
Art has been my visual journal depicting disparate elements in my life inspired by specific people and places. It helps me explore ideas around flux, migration, urban-life with aesthetic codes as markers of identity and aspirations. I attempt to recreate parts of my personal life by extrapolating bits of architecture and history from my itinerant experience.
I am interested in creating disquieting themes concerning an internal sense of self and decay. In my mind, stories and imageries always contain some sort of calamity. The result is a surreal wasteland, ravishing with pseudo‐organic ornamentation and rotten opulence.
